Businessman Kurowski dispatches employees Leon and Chwastek to track down his stolen, beat-up Mercedes, which has ended up at Magda’s used-car lot. Strapped for cash, Magda advertises four seats on a Paris trip, answered by Stefan and his son Janek, African student Machu, and Armenian émigré Sergei, while Leon and Chwastek tail the quintet, determined to recover the missing car at any cost.
