Nick Patrick

Joseph Nicholas Patrick Hamilton Jr. is a retired American professional wrestling referee, best known for his work in WCW and WWE. He is the son of wrestling legend Jody Hamilton and started as a referee in 1980 to make a name for himself. He had a brief wrestling career that ended due to a knee injury.

In WCW, he became the senior referee and was part of the New World Order (nWo) as a biased referee favoring its members, but later returned to being impartial. After WCW was purchased by WWE in ... 2001, he continued refereeing in the new company, including during the WCW/ECW invasion storyline, and served as head referee on SmackDown and in developmental territories. He retired in 2008 due to a back injury.

Afterwards, he worked as a commissioner and promoter in independent wrestling and revived the Deep South Wrestling promotion founded by his father in 2021. He also appears in several WWE video games.
